A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in versions prior to 2.19.0 allows an unauthenticated attacker to crash the SignalK Server by flooding the access request endpoint (`/signalk/v1/access/requests`). This causes a \"JavaScript heap out of memory\" error due to unbounded in-memory storage of request objects. Version 2.19.0 fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-400","CWE-770"],"references":["https://github.com/SignalK/signalk-server/releases/tag/v2.19.0","https://github.com/SignalK/signalk-server/security/advisories/GHSA-7rqc-ff8m-7j23"],"products":["signalk:signal_k_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:18:08.089039631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-68272","score":0.00564,"percentile":0.46592,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-7rqc-ff8m-7j23","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-7rqc-ff8m-7j23","summary":"Signal K Server Vulnerable to Denial of Service via Unrestricted Access Request Flooding","modified":"2026-02-03T03:15:27.955534Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"signalk-server","purl":"pkg:npm/signalk-server","ranges":["<2.19.0"],"fixed":["2.19.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
