Versions 3.5.6 and below and 4.0.0-rc.1 through 4.4.2 contain a flaw in path handling which could allow an attacker to access protected API endpoints by sending a crafted request path. An unauthenticated or unauthorized request could retrieve data from endpoints that should be protected. This issue is fixed in versions 3.5.7 and 4.4.3.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.7},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-178","CWE-200"],"references":["https://github.com/formio/formio/commit/1836bdd9f55f5888ff397c257b2108c09d3de478","https://github.com/formio/formio/security/advisories/GHSA-m654-769v-qjv7"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:40.427100871+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-67718","score":0.00312,"percentile":0.23862,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-m654-769v-qjv7","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-m654-769v-qjv7","summary":"Formio improperly authorized permission elevation through specially crafted request path","modified":"2025-12-11T16:20:52.699454Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"formio","purl":"pkg:npm/formio","ranges":["<3.5.7"],"fixed":["3.5.7"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"formio","purl":"pkg:npm/formio","ranges":[">=4.0.0-rc.1 <4.4.3"],"fixed":["4.4.3"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
