Prior to 2.49.5, SvelteKit is vulnerable to a server side request forgery (SSRF) and denial of service (DoS) under certain conditions. From 2.44.0 through 2.49.4, the vulnerability results in a DoS when your app has at least one prerendered route (export const prerender = true). From 2.19.0 through 2.49.4, the vulnerability results in a DoS when your app has at least one prerendered route and you are using adapter-node without a configured ORIGIN environment variable, and you are not using a reverse proxy that implements Host header validation. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.49.5.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:L/VA:H/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N","score":8.4},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:H","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-918","CWE-248"],"references":["https://github.com/sveltejs/kit/commit/d9ae9b00b14f5574d109f3fd548f960594346226","https://github.com/sveltejs/kit/security/advisories/GHSA-j62c-4x62-9r35"],"products":["svelte:adapter-node","svelte:kit"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:19:41.481987139+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-67647","score":0.00517,"percentile":0.43998,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-j62c-4x62-9r35","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-j62c-4x62-9r35","summary":"SvelteKit is vulnerable to denial of service and possible SSRF when using prerendering","modified":"2026-02-03T03:17:53.517839Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@sveltejs/kit","purl":"pkg:npm/%40sveltejs/kit","ranges":[">=2.19.0 <2.49.5"],"fixed":["2.49.5"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@sveltejs/adapter-node","purl":"pkg:npm/%40sveltejs/adapter-node","ranges":[">=5.4.1 <5.5.1"],"fixed":["5.5.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
