A user-controlled database name is directly interpolated into a SQL query, and the query is executed without passing the caller's authorization context. This may allow an authenticated attacker, or an anonymous attacker if authentication is disabled, to bypass SQL security validation and access metadata outside the intended database scope.\n\nAffected users are recommended to upgrade to Doris version 0.6.1 or later, which fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://lists.apache.org/thread/4l4v3m7ofwrgp4s4s98pjb5l03fcrzo2","http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2026/06/22/1"],"products":["apache:doris_mcp_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:39:28.638635428+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-66336","score":0.00561,"percentile":0.46414,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-pqrj-4gwg-h5f7","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-pqrj-4gwg-h5f7","summary":"Apache Doris MCP Server is vulnerable to SQL Injection via metadata query path","modified":"2026-10-01T17:55:39.556401826Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"doris-mcp-server","purl":"pkg:pypi/doris-mcp-server","ranges":["<0.6.1"],"fixed":["0.6.1"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-4048","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-4048","summary":"Apache Doris MCP Server is vulnerable to SQL Injection via metadata query path","modified":"2026-10-01T17:45:04.708797206Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"doris-mcp-server","purl":"pkg:pypi/doris-mcp-server","ranges":["<0.6.1"],"fixed":["0.6.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
