A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in versions prior to 11.13.0 that allows users with `upload files` and `edit item` permissions to inject malicious JavaScript through the Block Editor interface. Attackers can bypass Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions by combining file uploads with iframe srcdoc attributes, resulting in persistent XSS execution. Version 11.13.0 fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-20","CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/directus/directus/commit/d23525317f0780f04aa1fe7a99171a358e43cb2e","https://github.com/directus/directus/security/advisories/GHSA-vv2v-pw69-8crf"],"products":["monospace:directus"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:02.354564667+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-64747","score":0.00264,"percentile":0.18133,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-vv2v-pw69-8crf","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-vv2v-pw69-8crf","summary":"Directus is Vulnerable to Stored Cross-site Scripting","modified":"2025-11-14T21:45:36Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"directus","purl":"pkg:npm/directus","ranges":["<11.13.0"],"fixed":["11.13.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
