Prior to 2.6.11, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.1, when the security mode is enabled, modifying the DATA Submessage within an SPDP packet sent by a publisher causes an Out-Of-Memory (OOM) condition, resulting in remote termination of Fast-DDS.\nIf the fields of PID_IDENTITY_TOKEN or PID_PERMISSION_TOKEN in the DATA Submessage — specifically by tampering with the length field in readBinaryPropertySeq— are modified, an integer overflow occurs, leading to an OOM during the resize operation. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.11, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-190","CWE-789"],"references":["https://github.com/eProsima/Fast-DDS/security/advisories/GHSA-hvm8-mm7f-m6hc","https://github.com/eProsima/Fast-DDS/security/advisories/GHSA-hvm8-mm7f-m6hc"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","eprosima:fast_dds"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:22:27.261130201+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-62600","score":0.00517,"percentile":0.44025,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
