The untrusted script and the rest of the application still run in the same Isolate/process, so attackers can deploy prototype pollution payloads to hijack important references like \"process\" in the example below, or to hijack control flow via flipping checks of undefined property. This vulnerability is due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2025-61927. The vulnerability is fixed in 20.0.2.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","score":9.4},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-1321"],"references":["https://github.com/capricorn86/happy-dom/commit/f4bd4ebe3fe5abd2be2bcea1c07043c8b0b70eea","https://github.com/capricorn86/happy-dom/security/advisories/GHSA-qpm2-6cq5-7pq5"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:12:35.277909958+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-62410","score":0.00352,"percentile":0.28568,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-qpm2-6cq5-7pq5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-qpm2-6cq5-7pq5","summary":"happy-dom's `--disallow-code-generation-from-strings` is not sufficient for isolating untrusted JavaScript","modified":"2025-11-27T09:10:13.606901Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"happy-dom","purl":"pkg:npm/happy-dom","ranges":[">=19.0.0 <20.0.2"],"fixed":["20.0.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
