Both programs parse the contents of /proc/net/arp using sscanf() with \"%s\" format specifiers into fixed-size stack buffers without length validation. Specifically, one function writes user-controlled data into a single-byte buffer, and the other into adjacent small arrays without bounds checking. An attacker who controls the contents of /proc/net/arp can trigger memory corruption, leading to denial of service or potential arbitrary code execution.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:L","score":5.1},"cwes":["CWE-121"],"references":["https://github.com/yifan20020708/SGTaint-0-day/blob/main/ToToLink/ToToLink-A720R/CVE-2025-60686.md","https://www.totolink.net/"],"products":["totolink:a720r_firmware","totolink:lr1200gb_firmware","totolink:nr1800x_firmware"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:02.354564667+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-60686","score":0.00238,"percentile":0.14846,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
