Due to this all components but the Routing Engine (RE) in the chassis are reinitialized, which leads to a complete service outage, which the system automatically recovers from.\n\n\n\nThis issue affects:\n\nJunos OS on MX, SRX and EX Series, except MX10000 Series and MX304: \n\n\n\n * all versions before 22.4R3-S8,\n * 23.2 versions before 23.2R2-S5,\n * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S6,\n * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S2,\n * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:L/AU:Y/R:A/RE:M","score":6.8},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://kb.juniper.net/JSA103173","https://supportportal.juniper.net/"],"products":["juniper:junos"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:19:41.481987139+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-60007","score":0.00144,"percentile":0.03667,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
