This issue, categorized under CWE-1321, arises from improper validation of user-supplied input in the package's resource initialization process. Successful exploitation may lead to denial of service or arbitrary code execution in affected environments. The vulnerability affects versions up to and including 5.0.0-beta.19, and no official fix has been released to date.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:L","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-1321"],"references":["https://github.com/VulnSageAgent/PoCs/tree/main/JavaScript/prototype-pollution/CVE-2025-57348","https://github.com/node-cube/cube/issues/153"],"products":["node-cube:node-cube"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:10:08.713834912+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-57348","score":0.00409,"percentile":0.35192,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-8v65-5fw5-23wj","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-8v65-5fw5-23wj","summary":"node-cube vulnerable to prototype pollution","modified":"2025-09-25T18:27:28.883992Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"node-cube","purl":"pkg:npm/node-cube","ranges":["<=5.0.0-beta.19"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
