{"cve":"CVE-2025-55045","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-18T16:16:23.670","modified":"2026-06-17T09:41:09.803","status":"Analyzed","description":"The update address CSRF vulnerability in MuraCMS through 10.1.10 allows attackers to manipulate user address information through CSRF. The vulnerable cUsers.updateAddress function lacks CSRF token validation, enabling malicious websites to forge requests that add, modify, or delete user addresses when an authenticated administrator visits a crafted webpage. Successful exploitation of the update address CSRF vulnerability results in unauthorized manipulation of user address information within the MuraCMS system, potentially compromising user data integrity and organizational communications. When an authenticated administrator visits a malicious webpage containing the CSRF exploit, their browser automatically submits a hidden form that can add malicious addresses with attacker-controlled email addresses and phone numbers, update existing addresses to redirect communications to attacker-controlled locations or deleted legitimate address records to disrupt business operations. This can lead to misdirected sensitive communications, compromise of user privacy through injection of attacker contact information, disruption of legitimate business correspondence, and potential social engineering attacks via the corrupted address data.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:N","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://docs.murasoftware.com/v10/release-notes/","https://docs.murasoftware.com/v10/release-notes/#section-version-1014","https://www.murasoftware.com"],"products":["murasoftware:mura_cms"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-55045","score":0.00113,"percentile":0.0141,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
