The vulnerable endpoint fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input, enabling the attacker to inject malicious commands that are executed with the privileges of the MCP process. Exploitation requires network access to the MCP interface.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":8.0},"cwes":["CWE-420"],"references":["https://github.com/GLips/Figma-Context-MCP/blob/96b3852669c5eed65e4a6e20406c25504d9196f2/src/utils/fetch-with-retry.ts#L34","https://github.com/GLips/Figma-Context-MCP/releases/tag/v0.6.3","https://www.imperva.com/blog/another-critical-rce-discovered-in-a-popular-mcp-server/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:11:26.888974865+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-53967","score":0.05829,"percentile":0.93108,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-gxw4-4fc5-9gr5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-gxw4-4fc5-9gr5","summary":"figma-developer-mcp vulnerable to command injection in get_figma_data tool","modified":"2026-10-08T02:56:07.754160239Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"figma-developer-mcp","purl":"pkg:npm/figma-developer-mcp","ranges":["<0.6.3"],"fixed":["0.6.3"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
