Versions 0.0.11 and below contain a command injection vulnerability which exists in the @translated/lara-mcp MCP Server. The vulnerability is caused by the unsanitized use of input parameters within a call to child_process.exec, enabling an attacker to inject arbitrary system commands. Successful exploitation can lead to remote code execution under the server process's privileges. The server constructs and executes shell commands using unvalidated user input directly within command-line strings. This introduces the possibility of shell metacharacter injection (|, >, &&, etc.). This vulnerability is fixed in version 0.0.12.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-77"],"references":["https://github.com/translated/lara-mcp/commit/e534ef690adf390e4ac862a200b2a83f6cf45944","https://github.com/translated/lara-mcp/security/advisories/GHSA-xj5p-8h7g-76m7"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:05:46.678065081+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-53832","score":0.10882,"percentile":0.95863,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-xj5p-8h7g-76m7","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-xj5p-8h7g-76m7","summary":"@translated/lara-mcp vulnerable to command injection in import_tmx tool","modified":"2025-07-21T22:21:17Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@translated/lara-mcp","purl":"pkg:npm/%40translated/lara-mcp","ranges":["<0.0.12"],"fixed":["0.0.12"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
