This can be used to execute arbitrary system commands with the privileges of the FTP service (root or SYSTEM by default). This is thus a remote code execution vulnerability that guarantees a total server compromise. This is also exploitable via anonymous FTP accounts.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":10.0},"cwes":["CWE-158"],"references":["https://www.rcesecurity.com/2025/06/what-the-null-wing-ftp-server-rce-cve-2025-47812/","https://www.vicarius.io/vsociety/posts/cve-2025-47812-detection-script-remote-code-execution-vulnerability-in-wing-ftp-server","https://www.vicarius.io/vsociety/posts/cve-2025-47812-mitigation-script-remote-code-execution-vulnerability-in-wing-ftp-server","https://www.wftpserver.com","https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog?field_cve=CVE-2025-47812"],"products":["wftpserver:wing_ftp_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:04:28.436527499+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-47812","score":0.93884,"percentile":0.99844,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":{"cve":"CVE-2025-47812","date_added":"2025-07-14","due_date":"2025-08-04","vendor":"Wing FTP Server","product":"Wing FTP Server","known_ransomware":false},"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
