The debug code\nshould report and handle the corruption gracefully and not crash in the\nprocess.\n\nIn case the pointer is NULL or check_valid_pointer() returns false for\nthe pointer, only print the pointer value and skip accessing metadata.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0ef7058b4dc6fcef622ac23b45225db57f17b83f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1f0797f17927b5cad0fb7eced422f9a7c30a3191","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3baa1da473e6e50281324ff1d332d1a07a3bb02e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7e287256904ee796c9477e3ec92b07f236481ef3","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/872f2c34ff232af1e65ad2df86d61163c8ffad42"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-39902","score":0.00167,"percentile":0.05915,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
