This may result in a null\npointer dereference when attempting to take the abts_io_buf_list_lock for\nthe first hardware queue. Fix by adding a null ptr check on\nphba->sli4_hba.hdwq and early return because this situation means there\nmust have been an error during port initialization.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/46a0602c24d7d425dd8e00c749cd64a934aac7ec","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/571617f171f723b05f02d154a2e549a17eab4935","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5e25ee1ecec91c61a8acf938ad338399cad464de","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6698796282e828733cde3329c887b4ae9e5545e9","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6711ce7e9de4eb1a541ef30638df1294ea4267f8"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-38695","score":0.00176,"percentile":0.07038,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
