After the last sk_psock_put() (which usually happens when\nsocket is removed from sockmap), sk->sk_prot gets restored and\nsk->sk_prot->sock_is_readable becomes NULL.\n\nThis makes sk_is_readable() racy, if the value of sk->sk_prot is reloaded\nafter the initial check. Which in turn may lead to a null pointer\ndereference.\n\nEnsure the function pointer does not turn NULL after the check.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":4.7},"cwes":["CWE-367"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1b367ba2f94251822577daed031d6b9a9e11ba91","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1e0de7582ceccbdbb227d4e0ddf65732f92526da","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2660a544fdc0940bba15f70508a46cf9a6491230","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/6fa68d7eab34d448a61aa24ea31e68b3231ed20d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8926a7ef1977a832dd6bf702f1a99303dbf15b15"],"products":["debian:debian_linux","linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:04:28.436527499+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-38112","score":0.00145,"percentile":0.03747,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
