{"cve":"CVE-2025-35050","nvd":{"published":"2025-10-09T21:15:35.707","modified":"2026-10-08T13:10:00.200","status":"Analyzed","description":"Newforma Info Exchange (NIX) accepts serialized .NET data via the '/remoteweb/remote.rem' endpoint, allowing a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with 'NT AUTHORITY\\NetworkService' privileges. The vulnerable endpoint is used by Newforma Project Center Server (NPCS), so a compromised NIX system can be used to attack an associated NPCS system. To mitigate this vulnerability, restrict network access to the '/remoteweb/remote.rem' endpoint, for example using the IIS URL Rewrite Module.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-306","CWE-502"],"references":["https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/extensions/url-rewrite-module/using-the-url-rewrite-module","https://projectcenter.help.newforma.com/overviews/info_exchange_overview/","https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cisagov/CSAF/develop/csaf_files/IT/white/2025/va-25-282-01.json","https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2025-35050"],"products":["newforma:project_center"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:11:26.888974865+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-35050","score":0.00923,"percentile":0.60119,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
