{"cve":"CVE-2025-34402","nvd":{"published":"2025-12-09T18:15:50.670","modified":"2026-10-19T19:10:00.130","status":"Analyzed","description":"MailEnable versions prior to 10.54 contain a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the FieldCc parameter of /Mondo/lang/sys/Forms/AddressBook.aspx. The FieldCc value is not properly sanitized when processed via a GET request and is reflected inside a <script> block in the JavaScript variable var CCFieldProvided. By supplying a crafted payload that terminates the existing LoadCurAddresses() function, inserts attacker-controlled script, and comments out remaining code, a remote attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in a victim’s browser when the victim attempts to send an email. Successful exploitation can redirect victims to malicious sites, steal non-HttpOnly cookies, inject arbitrary HTML or CSS, and perform actions as the authenticated user.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N","score":5.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://mailenable.com/Standard-ReleaseNotes.txt","https://www.mailenable.com/","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/mailenable-reflected-xss-in-fieldcc-parameter-of-addressbook-aspx"],"products":["mailenable:mailenable"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:40.427100871+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-34402","score":0.00395,"percentile":0.33399,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
