When an authenticated user adds or edits an AddIns menu entry, the label and path values are stored in plugin configuration data and later rendered in the AddIns UI without proper HTML sanitation. An attacker can inject malicious script into either field, which is then executed in the browser context of users who view or interact with the affected AddIns entry, potentially enabling session compromise and unauthorized actions as the victim.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N","score":5.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://advcloudfiles.advantech.com/cms/2ca1b071-fd78-4d7f-8a2a-7b4537a95d19/Security%20Advisory%20PDF%20File/SECURITY-ADVISORY----DeviceOn-20251208-2.pdf","https://docs.deviceon.advantech.com/docs/resource/","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/advantech-wise-deviceon-server-authenticated-stored-xss-via-pluginconfig-addins-menus"],"products":["advantech:wise-deviceon_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:40.427100871+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-34266","score":0.00213,"percentile":0.11505,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
