When an authenticated user creates a task, the defined_name value is stored and later rendered in the Overview page without HTML sanitization. An attacker can inject malicious script into defined_name, which is then executed in the browser context of users who view the affected task, potentially enabling session compromise and unauthorized actions as the victim.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:P/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N","score":5.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://advcloudfiles.advantech.com/cms/2ca1b071-fd78-4d7f-8a2a-7b4537a95d19/Security%20Advisory%20PDF%20File/SECURITY-ADVISORY----DeviceOn-20251208-2.pdf","https://docs.deviceon.advantech.com/docs/resource/","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/advantech-wise-deviceon-server-authenticated-stored-xss-via-action-defined"],"products":["advantech:wise-deviceon_server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:40.427100871+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-34257","score":0.00259,"percentile":0.17599,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
