The flaw is due to insufficient sanitation of user-supplied file paths in the FTP GET and PUT command handlers. Exploitation is possible by submitting traversal sequences during FTP operations, enabling access to system-sensitive files. This issue affects only the Windows version of ColoradoFTP.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":9.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-22","CWE-306","CWE-552"],"references":["https://bitbucket.org/nolife/coloradoftp/commits/16a60c4a74ef477cd8c16ca82442eaab2fbe8c86","https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rapid7/metasploit-framework/master/modules/auxiliary/scanner/ftp/colorado_ftp_traversal.rb","https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/40231","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/colorado-ftp-server-path-traversal-information-disclosure"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:04:28.436527499+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-34110","score":0.01927,"percentile":0.79963,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
