Versions prior to 4.6.2 would allow for a malicious unauthenticated actor to perform an open redirect by manipulating the Host header in HTTP requests. Flask-AppBuilder 4.6.2 introduced the `FAB_SAFE_REDIRECT_HOSTS` configuration variable, which allows administrators to explicitly define which domains are considered safe for redirection. As a workaround, use a reverse proxy to enforce trusted host headers.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-601"],"references":["https://github.com/dpgaspar/Flask-AppBuilder/commit/32eedbbb5cb483a3e782c5f2732de4a6a650d9b6","https://github.com/dpgaspar/Flask-AppBuilder/security/advisories/GHSA-99pm-ch96-ccp2"],"products":["dpgaspar:flask-appbuilder"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:01:57.636215869+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-32962","score":0.0023,"percentile":0.13817,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-99pm-ch96-ccp2","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-99pm-ch96-ccp2","summary":"Flask-AppBuilder open redirect vulnerability using HTTP host injection","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:57.462278194Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"flask-appbuilder","purl":"pkg:pypi/flask-appbuilder","ranges":["<4.6.2"],"fixed":["4.6.2"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-1379","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-1379","summary":"Flask-AppBuilder open redirect vulnerability using HTTP host injection","modified":"2026-07-07T17:47:36.773629556Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"flask-appbuilder","purl":"pkg:pypi/flask-appbuilder","ranges":["<4.6.2"],"fixed":["4.6.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
