Prior to version 1.1.1, the input parameter, which consists of a file path and name, can be manipulated to return the Content-Type header with text/html if the name part ends with .html. This could allow malicious JavaScript code to be executed in the browser. For a successful attack, a malicious file needs to be uploaded beforehand. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.1. A workaround is provided on the Jmix documentation website.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://docs.jmix.io/jmix/files-vulnerabilities.html","https://docs.jmix.io/jmix/files-vulnerabilities.html#disable-files-endpoint-in-cuba-application","https://github.com/cuba-platform/jpawebapi/commit/78b837d7e2b12d0df69cef1bc6042ebf3bdaf22c","https://github.com/cuba-platform/jpawebapi/security/advisories/GHSA-hg25-w3vg-7279"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:01:11.054312287+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-32961","score":0.00325,"percentile":0.25599,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-hg25-w3vg-7279","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-hg25-w3vg-7279","summary":"XSS in the /download Endpoint of the JPA Web API","modified":"2025-04-23T15:21:43Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"com.haulmont.addon.jpawebapi:jpawebapi-jpawebapi","purl":"pkg:maven/com.haulmont.addon.jpawebapi/jpawebapi-jpawebapi","ranges":["<1.1.1"],"fixed":["1.1.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
