This vulnerability does not affect users having TurboVNC as the vncserver executable. This issue is fixed in 3.0.1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","score":9.0},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-668"],"references":["https://github.com/jupyterhub/jupyter-remote-desktop-proxy/commit/7dd54c25a4253badd8ea68895437e5a66a59090d","https://github.com/jupyterhub/jupyter-remote-desktop-proxy/security/advisories/GHSA-vrq4-9hc3-cgp7"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:00:57.946988208+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-32428","score":0.00916,"percentile":0.60199,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-vrq4-9hc3-cgp7","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-vrq4-9hc3-cgp7","summary":"TigerVNC accessible via the network and not just via a UNIX socket as intended","modified":"2026-10-27T17:30:38.257646497Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"jupyter-remote-desktop-proxy","purl":"pkg:pypi/jupyter-remote-desktop-proxy","ranges":[">=3.0.0 <3.0.1"],"fixed":["3.0.1"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-365","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-365","summary":"TigerVNC accessible via the network and not just via a UNIX socket as intended","modified":"2026-07-01T20:22:54.840490Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"jupyter-remote-desktop-proxy","purl":"pkg:pypi/jupyter-remote-desktop-proxy","ranges":[">=3.0.0 <3.0.1"],"fixed":["3.0.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
