This issue has been patched and released in Remix 2.16.3 and React Router 7.4.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-444"],"references":["https://github.com/remix-run/react-router/security/advisories/GHSA-4q56-crqp-v477"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:00:57.946988208+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-31137","score":0.01191,"percentile":0.67976,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4q56-crqp-v477","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4q56-crqp-v477","summary":"Remix and React Router allow URL manipulation via Host / X-Forwarded-Host headers","modified":"2025-04-01T22:42:10.697503Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@react-router/express","purl":"pkg:npm/%40react-router/express","ranges":[">=7.0.0 <7.4.1"],"fixed":["7.4.1"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@remix-run/express","purl":"pkg:npm/%40remix-run/express","ranges":[">=2.11.1 <2.16.3"],"fixed":["2.16.3"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
