{"cve":"CVE-2025-30351","nvd":{"published":"2025-03-26T18:15:26.873","modified":"2026-06-17T09:08:33.893","status":"Analyzed","description":"Directus is a real-time API and App dashboard for managing SQL database content. Starting in version 10.10.0 and prior to version 11.5.0, a suspended user can use the token generated in session auth mode to access the API despite their status. This happens because there is a check missing in `verifySessionJWT` to verify that a user is actually still active and allowed to access the API. One can extract the session token obtained by, e.g. login in to the app while still active and then, after the user has been suspended continue to use that token until it expires. Version 11.5.0 patches the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-672"],"references":["https://github.com/directus/directus/commit/ef179931c55b50c110feca8404901d5633940771","https://github.com/directus/directus/security/advisories/GHSA-56p6-qw3c-fq2g","https://github.com/directus/directus/security/advisories/GHSA-56p6-qw3c-fq2g"],"products":["monospace:directus"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:00:28.034033815+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-30351","score":0.00374,"percentile":0.31343,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-56p6-qw3c-fq2g","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-56p6-qw3c-fq2g","summary":"Suspended Directus user can continue to use session token to access API","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:22.766465398Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"directus","purl":"pkg:npm/directus","ranges":[">=10.10.0 <11.5.0"],"fixed":["11.5.0"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@directus/api","purl":"pkg:npm/%40directus/api","ranges":[">=18.0.0 <24.0.1"],"fixed":["24.0.1"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@directus/types","purl":"pkg:npm/%40directus/types","ranges":[">=11.0.7 <13.0.0"],"fixed":["13.0.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
