{"cve":"CVE-2025-24887","nvd":{"published":"2025-04-30T19:15:55.070","modified":"2026-06-17T08:59:47.277","status":"Analyzed","description":"OpenCTI is an open-source cyber threat intelligence platform. In versions starting from 6.4.8 to before 6.4.10, the allow/deny lists can be bypassed, allowing a user to change attributes that are intended to be unmodifiable by the user. It is possible to toggle the `external` flag on/off and change the own token value for a user. It is also possible to edit attributes that are not in the allow list, such as `otp_qr` and `otp_activated`. If external users exist in the OpenCTI setup and the information about these users identities is sensitive, the above vulnerabilities can be used to enumerate existing user accounts as a standard low privileged user. This issue has been patched in version 6.4.10.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":6.3},"cwes":["CWE-284","CWE-657"],"references":["https://github.com/OpenCTI-Platform/opencti/security/advisories/GHSA-8262-pw2q-5qc3"],"products":["citeum:opencti"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:01:11.054312287+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-24887","score":0.00256,"percentile":0.1729,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"PYSEC-2025-178","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2025-178","summary":"","modified":"2026-05-20T09:19:14.163895Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"pycti","purl":"pkg:pypi/pycti","ranges":[">=6.4.9 <6.4.11"],"fixed":["6.4.11"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
