{"cve":"CVE-2025-13308","nvd":{"published":"2025-12-06T06:15:51.240","modified":"2026-10-15T20:10:00.197","status":"Deferred","description":"The Application Passwords plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'reject_url' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 0.1.3. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied URLs, which allows javascript: URI schemes to be embedded in the reject_url parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when a user clicks the \"No, I do not approve of this connection\" button, granted they can successfully trick the victim into performing an action such as clicking on a link.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/application-passwords/tags/0.1.3/auth-app.js#L61","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/application-passwords/tags/0.1.3/class.application-passwords.php#L418","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/application-passwords/tags/0.1.3/class.application-passwords.php#L432","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/59fdfdf3-e9fe-44d2-82f4-7a612a51d376?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:16:40.427100871+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-13308","score":0.00227,"percentile":0.13289,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
