{"cve":"CVE-2025-11166","nvd":{"published":"2025-10-09T02:15:41.213","modified":"2026-10-08T13:10:00.200","status":"Deferred","description":"The WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in all versions up to, and including, 9.0.46. This is due to the plugin exposing state-changing REST actions through an AJAX bridge without proper CSRF token validation, and having destructive logic reachable via GET requests with no permission_callback. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to force logged-in administrators to create, update, or delete markers and geometry features via CSRF attacks, and allows anonymous users to trigger mass deletion of markers via unsafe GET requests.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/includes/class.rest-api.php#L287","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/includes/class.rest-api.php#L45","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/includes/class.rest-api.php#L850","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?sfp_email=&sfph_mail=&reponame=&new=3370954%40wp-google-maps%2Ftrunk&old=3317391%40wp-google-maps%2Ftrunk&sfp_email=&sfph_mail=#file1","https://research.cleantalk.org/cve-2025-11166"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:11:26.888974865+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-11166","score":0.00192,"percentile":0.0872,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
