This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to retrieve access to a back-up's filename while a backup is running. This information has little value on it's own, but could be used to aid in a brute force attack to retrieve back-up contents in limited environments (i.e. NGINX).","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?sfp_email=&sfph_mail=&reponame=&new=3381187%40backwpup%2Ftrunk&old=3362645%40backwpup%2Ftrunk&sfp_email=&sfph_mail=#file23","https://research.cleantalk.org/cve-2025-10579","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/1e9a1484-2000-47fa-9890-fa02eddabcd9?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:12:35.277909958+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2025-10579","score":0.00279,"percentile":0.20158,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
