This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on several functions in api/class-mvx-rest-controller.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update vendor account details, create vendor accounts, and delete arbitrary users via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":6.3},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/tags/4.2.1/api/class-mvx-rest-controller.php#L5258","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/tags/4.2.1/api/class-mvx-rest-controller.php#L6009","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/tags/4.2.1/api/class-mvx-rest-controller.php#L6155","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3173238/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/trunk/api/class-mvx-rest-controller.php?old=3168957&old_path=dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor%2Ftrunk%2Fapi%2Fclass-mvx-rest-controller.php","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/b950faf9-2122-42af-9f05-ec850767be32?source=cve"],"products":["multivendorx:multivendorx"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-9943","score":0.00212,"percentile":0.1149,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
