This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the my_account_update() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update a user's account details via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. This can be leveraged to reset a user's password and gain access to their account.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/ba-book-everything/tags/1.6.20/includes/class-babe-my-account.php#L562","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/ba-book-everything/tags/1.6.20/includes/class-babe-users.php#L203","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?sfp_email=&sfph_mail=&reponame=&old=3152728%40ba-book-everything&new=3152728%40ba-book-everything&sfp_email=&sfph_mail=#file3","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/b691560e-e285-467c-9d52-1620c63de1f0?source=cve"],"products":["ba-booking:ba_book_everything"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:54:38.012257375+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-8795","score":0.00318,"percentile":0.24765,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
