When a user logs in, a directory is created in the history folder with the user's name. By manipulating the /file endpoint, an authenticated user can enumerate and access files in other users' directories, leading to unauthorized access to private chat histories. This vulnerability can be exploited to read any user's private chat history.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-1057"],"references":["https://github.com/gaizhenbiao/chuanhuchatgpt/commit/ccc7479ace5c9e1a1d9f4daf2e794ffd3865fc2b","https://huntr.com/bounties/71c5ea4b-524a-4173-8fd4-2fbabd69502e"],"products":["gaizhenbiao:chuanhuchatgpt"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-8143","score":0.00486,"percentile":0.41888,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"PYSEC-2024-113","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2024-113","summary":"","modified":"2024-10-31T19:44:10.976096Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"chuanhuchatgpt","purl":"pkg:pypi/chuanhuchatgpt","ranges":["all versions"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
