This allows unused OTPs to remain valid indefinitely, presenting an opportunity for malicious actors to conduct brute force attacks by repeatedly guessing the OTP.\n\nThe absence of automatic expiration for OTPs grants attackers an unlimited timeframe to attempt guessing the correct code.
