An attacker can read any file that matches specific criteria using an absolute path. The file must not have a .json extension and, except for the first line, every other line must contain commas. This vulnerability allows reading parts of format-compliant files, including code and log files, which may contain highly sensitive information such as account credentials.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-22","CWE-29"],"references":["https://github.com/gaizhenbiao/chuanhuchatgpt/commit/2836fd1db3efcd5ede63c0e7fbbdf677730dbb51","https://huntr.com/bounties/83f0a8e1-490c-49e7-b334-02125ee0f1b1"],"products":["gaizhenbiao:chuanhuchatgpt"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-7962","score":0.00792,"percentile":0.56336,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"PYSEC-2024-112","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2024-112","summary":"","modified":"2024-10-31T19:44:10.888628Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"chuanhuchatgpt","purl":"pkg:pypi/chuanhuchatgpt","ranges":["all versions"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
