This is due to improper authentication via the Social Login widget. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as the first user to have logged in with a social media account, including administrator accounts. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability even if the Social Login element has been disabled, as long as it was previously enabled and used. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 4.7.5, and fully patched in version 4.7.8.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-306","CWE-288"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/jupiterx-core/trunk/includes/extensions/raven/includes/modules/forms/classes/social-login-handler/facebook.php","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/jupiterx-core/trunk/includes/extensions/raven/includes/modules/forms/classes/social-login-handler/google.php","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3153667/","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/efd279c2-9e95-45bd-9494-fb53a6333c65?source=cve"],"products":["artbees:jupiter_x_core"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:54:38.012257375+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-7781","score":0.00953,"percentile":0.61354,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
