{"cve":"CVE-2024-6982","nvd":{"published":"2025-03-20T10:15:34.740","modified":"2026-06-17T08:19:07.437","status":"Deferred","description":"A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Calculate function of parisneo/lollms version 9.8. The vulnerability arises from the use of Python's `eval()` function to evaluate mathematical expressions within a Python sandbox that disables `__builtins__` and only allows functions from the `math` module. This sandbox can be bypassed by loading the `os` module using the `_frozen_importlib.BuiltinImporter` class, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the server. The issue is fixed in version 9.10.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.4},"cwes":["CWE-94"],"references":["https://github.com/parisneo/lollms/commit/30e7eaba2ccfb751a81e7cb29fdef2ae8ffa6832","https://huntr.com/bounties/4f8e73ac-aaaf-4d5c-a6dd-58215b5a7fea"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:00:17.429720821+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-6982","score":0.0046,"percentile":0.39928,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jccx-m9v4-9hwh","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jccx-m9v4-9hwh","summary":"LoLLMS Code Injection vulnerability","modified":"2026-07-07T17:56:33.515525406Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<11.0.0"],"fixed":["11.0.0"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-1591","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-1591","summary":"LoLLMS Code Injection vulnerability","modified":"2026-07-07T17:46:56.172457798Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<11.0.0"],"fixed":["11.0.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
