{"cve":"CVE-2024-6971","nvd":{"published":"2024-10-11T13:15:16.537","modified":"2026-06-17T08:19:06.303","status":"Analyzed","description":"A path traversal vulnerability exists in the parisneo/lollms-webui repository, specifically in the `lollms_file_system.py` file. The functions `add_rag_database`, `toggle_mount_rag_database`, and `vectorize_folder` do not implement security measures such as `sanitize_path_from_endpoint` or `sanitize_path`. This allows an attacker to perform vectorize operations on `.sqlite` files in any directory on the victim's computer, potentially installing multiple packages and causing a crash.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":4.4},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://huntr.com/bounties/fbfe7cd0-99fb-4305-bd07-8b573364109e"],"products":["lollms:lollms-webui"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:55:31.737901711+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-6971","score":0.00319,"percentile":0.24873,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-7pgr-32fx-c6x9","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-7pgr-32fx-c6x9","summary":"Lord of Large Language Models (LoLLMs) Server path traversal vulnerability in lollms_file_system.py","modified":"2026-07-07T17:56:27.944652787Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<=9.5.1"],"fixed":[]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-1585","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-1585","summary":"Lord of Large Language Models (LoLLMs) Server path traversal vulnerability in lollms_file_system.py","modified":"2026-07-07T17:46:17.300771258Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"lollms","purl":"pkg:pypi/lollms","ranges":["<=9.5.1"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
