{"cve":"CVE-2024-6483","nvd":{"published":"2025-03-20T10:15:32.863","modified":"2026-06-17T08:18:06.130","status":"Analyzed","description":"A vulnerability in the `runs/delete-batch` endpoint of aimhubio/aim version 3.19.3 allows for arbitrary file or directory deletion through path traversal. The endpoint does not mitigate path traversal when handling user-specified run-names, which are used to specify log/metadata files for deletion. This can be exploited to delete arbitrary files or directories, potentially causing denial of service or data loss.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.0","vector":"CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-23"],"references":["https://huntr.com/bounties/dc45d480-e579-4af4-8603-c52ecfd5e363"],"products":["aimstack:aim"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:00:17.429720821+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-6483","score":0.00889,"percentile":0.59354,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-p6x3-v6g3-7557","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-p6x3-v6g3-7557","summary":"Aim Relative Path Traversal vulnerability","modified":"2026-07-07T17:57:34.816560644Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aim","purl":"pkg:pypi/aim","ranges":["<=3.19.3"],"fixed":[]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-1091","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-1091","summary":"Aim Relative Path Traversal vulnerability","modified":"2026-07-07T17:46:18.116992954Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"aim","purl":"pkg:pypi/aim","ranges":["<=3.19.3"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
