This makes it possible for authenticated attackers that have been explicitly granted permissions by an administrator, with contributor-level permissions and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Version 9.0.39 adds a caution to make administrators aware of the possibility for abuse if permissions are granted to lower-level users.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/html/atlas-novus/settings-page.html.php#L442","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/html/settings-page.html.php#L538","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/dd0597d2-07ba-4fb4-bf73-95770f8c3d6b?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/html/atlas-novus/settings-page.html.php#L442","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wp-google-maps/trunk/html/settings-page.html.php#L538"],"products":["codecabin:wp_go_maps"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:52:00.836172422+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-5994","score":0.00367,"percentile":0.3058,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
