More badly, the use of WARN() rather confuses fuzzer as if\nit were serious issues.\n\nThis patch downgrades the warning messages to use the normal dev_err()\ninstead of WARN(). For making it clearer, add the function name to\nthe prefix, too.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/365ee29e559269cbb2108c4cc05dd8e262b4e84e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/36c0764474b637bbee498806485bed524cad486b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4e5a92a7223c83c1f5f2db6cd010ac9347948972","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/b2e538a9827dd04ab5273bf4be8eb2edb84357b0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d5a1ca7b59804d6779644001a878ed925a4688ca"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:57:56.913276502+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-56657","score":0.00221,"percentile":0.12584,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
