The issue could occur when `dc->clk_mgr` or\n`dc->clk_mgr->funcs` is null.\n\nThe fix adds a check to ensure `dc->clk_mgr` and `dc->clk_mgr->funcs` is\nnot null before accessing its functions. This prevents a potential null\npointer dereference.\n\nReported by smatch:\ndrivers/gpu/drm/amd/amdgpu/../display/dc/hwss/dcn30/dcn30_hwseq.c:789 dcn30_init_hw() error: we previously assumed 'dc->clk_mgr' could be null (see line 628)","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/205e3b96cc9aa9211fd2c849a16245cf236b2d36","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/23cb6139543580dc36743586ca86fbb3f7ab2c9d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5443c83eb8fd2f88c71ced38848fbf744d6206a2","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/56c326577971adc3a230f29dfd3aa3abdd505f5d","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/cba7fec864172dadd953daefdd26e01742b71a6a"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-49917","score":0.00238,"percentile":0.14881,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
