Previously,\nset_output_gamma was being checked for null at line 1030, but then it\nwas being dereferenced without any null check at line 1048. This could\npotentially lead to a null pointer dereference error if set_output_gamma\nis null.\n\nTo fix this, we now ensure that set_output_gamma is not null before\ndereferencing it. We do this by adding a null check for set_output_gamma\nbefore the call to set_output_gamma at line 1048.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/02411e9359297512946705b1cd8cf5e6b0806fa0","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/62ed6f0f198da04e884062264df308277628004f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/827380b114f83c30b3e56d1a675980b6d65f7c88","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8c854138b593efbbd8fa46a25f3288c121c1d1a1","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e8a24767899c86f4c5f1e4d3b2608942d054900f"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-49911","score":0.00238,"percentile":0.14877,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
