However if the command fails no rollback of this\npreparation is done. This can result in transient handles being leaked\nif the device is subsequently closed with no further commands performed.\n\nFix this by flushing the space in the event of command transmission\nfailure.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-459"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2c9b228938e9266a1065a3f4fe5c99b7235dc439","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/3f9f72d843c92fb6f4ff7460d774413cde7f254c","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/82478cb8a23bd4f97935bbe60d64528c6d9918b4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/87e8134c18977b566f4ec248c8a147244da69402","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/adf4ce162561222338cf2c9a2caa294527f7f721"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-49851","score":0.00219,"percentile":0.12307,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
