The problem arises when a phy control response comes late. After\n300 ms the pm8001_phy_control() function returns and the passed\nenable_completion stack address is no longer valid. Late phy control\nresponse invokes complete() on a dangling enable_completion pointer which\nleads to a kernel crash.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7b1d779647afaea9185fa2f150b1721e7c1aae89","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/a5d954802bda1aabcba49633cd94bad91c94113f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/ddc501f4130f4baa787cb6cfa309af697179f475","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e23ee0cc5bded07e700553aecc333bb20c768546","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/e4f949ef1516c0d74745ee54a0f4882c1f6c7aea"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:55:31.737901711+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-47666","score":0.00207,"percentile":0.10814,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
