A vulnerability in versions prior to 1.0.330 permits attackers to upload image files at attacker-chosen location on the server. This issue can lead to image file uploads to unauthorized or unintended directories, including overwriting of existing images which may be used for defacement. This does not affect `agnai.chat`, installations using S3-compatible storage, or self-hosting that is not publicly exposed. Version 1.0.330 fixes this vulnerability.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-22","CWE-35"],"references":["https://github.com/agnaistic/agnai/blob/75abbd5b0f5e48ddecc805365cf1574d05ee1ce5/srv/api/character.ts#L140:","https://github.com/agnaistic/agnai/blob/75abbd5b0f5e48ddecc805365cf1574d05ee1ce5/srv/api/upload.ts#L55","https://github.com/agnaistic/agnai/security/advisories/GHSA-g54f-66mw-hv66"],"products":["agnai:agnai"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:54:38.012257375+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-47171","score":0.00495,"percentile":0.42475,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-g54f-66mw-hv66","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-g54f-66mw-hv66","summary":"Agnai vulnerable to Relative Path Traversal in Image Upload","modified":"2024-09-26T21:11:07Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"agnai","purl":"pkg:npm/agnai","ranges":["<1.0.330"],"fixed":["1.0.330"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
