As such, a valid ID is needed.\n\nIf an MPIDR check fails in acpi_map_gic_cpu_interface() it is possible\nfor the entry in cpu_madt_gicc[cpu] == NULL. This function would\nthen cause a NULL pointer dereference. Whilst a path to trigger\nthis has not been established, harden this caller against the\npossibility.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/2488444274c70038eb6b686cba5f1ce48ebb9cdd","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/40cae0df42e5e7f7a1c0f32deed9c4027c1ba94e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/4c3b21204abb4fa3ab310fbbb5cf7f0e85f3a1bc","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/62ca6d3a905b4c40cd942f3cc645a6718f8bc7e7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/945be49f4e832a9184c313fdf8917475438a795b"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:54:38.012257375+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-46822","score":0.00251,"percentile":0.16474,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
