{"cve":"CVE-2024-45518","nvd":{"published":"2024-10-22T17:15:03.837","modified":"2026-06-17T07:54:22.190","status":"Analyzed","description":"An issue was discovered in Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) 10.1.x before 10.1.1, 10.0.x before 10.0.9, 9.0.0 before Patch 41, and 8.8.15 before Patch 46. It allows authenticated users to exploit Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) due to improper input sanitization and misconfigured domain whitelisting. This issue permits unauthorized HTTP requests to be sent to internal services, which can lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) by chaining Command Injection within the internal service. When combined with existing XSS vulnerabilities, this SSRF issue can further facilitate Remote Code Execution (RCE).","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Security_Center","https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/10.0.9#Security_Fixes","https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/10.1.1#Security_Fixes","https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/8.8.15/P46#Security_Fixes","https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Releases/9.0.0/P41#Security_Fixes"],"products":["zimbra:collaboration"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:56:33.105311382+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-45518","score":0.20729,"percentile":0.97535,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
