{"cve":"CVE-2024-4325","nvd":{"published":"2024-06-06T18:15:18.300","modified":"2026-06-17T08:01:40.573","status":"Modified","description":"A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the gradio-app/gradio version 4.21.0, specifically within the `/queue/join` endpoint and the `save_url_to_cache` function. The vulnerability arises when the `path` value, obtained from the user and expected to be a URL, is used to make an HTTP request without sufficient validation checks. This flaw allows an attacker to send crafted requests that could lead to unauthorized access to the local network or the AWS metadata endpoint, thereby compromising the security of internal servers.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":8.6},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://huntr.com/bounties/b34f084b-7d14-4f00-bc10-048a3a5aaf88","https://huntr.com/bounties/b34f084b-7d14-4f00-bc10-048a3a5aaf88"],"products":["gradio_project:gradio"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T21:51:20.603330631+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2024-4325","score":0.37114,"percentile":0.98519,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-973g-55hp-3frw","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-973g-55hp-3frw","summary":"Server-Side Request Forgery in gradio","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:15.170801808Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"gradio","purl":"pkg:pypi/gradio","ranges":["<=4.36.0"],"fixed":[]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-1413","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-1413","summary":"Server-Side Request Forgery in gradio","modified":"2026-07-07T17:47:37.727482455Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"gradio","purl":"pkg:pypi/gradio","ranges":["<=4.36.0"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
